Marcy is the Founder and CEO of Solid Foundations. She is fire, spirit and passionate about her work in the substance use and mental health field.
Marcy has a degree from MTSU in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Health. She went back in 2010 and continued her education as a LPN graduating with honors and president of her class. Her greatest accomplishment in life is being blessed with 3 amazing and beautiful children.

Marcy has worked as a nurse in Business Development and Clinical Consulting for 14 years. She has worked directly between physicians, nurses, case management,therapists, phychiatrists and admission teams.

Marcy is highly professional, ethical and has a passion to help loved ones and families find their way to health and wellness. Marcy is tenured faciltating Family Interventions and passionate around family recovery. Losing two siblings of her own as well as a family history of substance use and mental health, the ambition to help others is a love she holds close to her heart.

Creating Solid Foundations, LLC and creating Ginny Lee Ranch has been not only a professional goal but also a personal goal for her family in honor of her sister who was taken from her loved ones by a drunk driver in 1995.

Intervention
When someone is addicted to alcohol or drugs, the immediate and systemic negative effects are not just felt by the substance user. Addiction inevitably affects those closest to the substance user and can be equally devastating to the family members and their quality of life.
Families, often in uncharted territory, begin the coping process with maladaptive thoughts and strategies. The addicted loved one seeks to manipulate and mold the family into a counterproductive mechanism that provides comfort to the substance user while sowing confusion, anger, and uncertainty within the family.
The process of intervention seeks to help families understand why they have waited as long as they have before trying something different. Substance users are almost never able to manage their addiction on their own.

Other candidates for being escorted are teens who are abusing substances or have a history of illegal behavior or running away. Parents are advised to be careful in making this choice and to only consider using a service that is focused on transporting teens in a positive manner, as it could do more harm than good in these cases.

They can educate, support, and empower you to become the parent you want to be. Parent coaches are mental health therapists with expertise in parenting and child development, and you are the expert on your child. You will work together as a team to find solutions that work for you and your family.
